FAQ

📦 How are the plants shipped?

Plants are shipped either as potted plants or without pot as plugs. This helps reduce shipping weight and minimizes the risk of damage during transit. All plants are carefully packaged to protect them from temperature changes and handling.

🚚 Which shipping carrier do you use?

  • Orders within the Netherlands and Belgium are shipped with PostNL.
  • International orders are shipped with UPS.

A tracking number will be provided once your order has been dispatched.

⏱️ When will my order be shipped?

To prevent shipping delays:

  • International orders are shipped on Mondays only.
  • Orders within the Netherlands and Belgium are shipped on Mondays and Tuesdays.

Orders are generally dispatched within 1–3 business days after payment, depending on the shipping schedule.

❄️ What happens in extreme weather conditions?

Shipping may be postponed during extreme heat or cold to ensure plant health. You will be contacted if a delay is necessary.

🪴 Are the plants healthy?

All plants are carefully inspected before shipping. Minor cosmetic imperfections may occur and are normal with live plants.

📸 What if my plant arrives damaged?

Please contact me within 24 hours of delivery and provide clear photos of the plant, packaging, and any damage.

🔁 Do you accept returns?

Returns are not accepted due to the nature of live plants, unless a mistake was made on my part.

💧 How should I care for my plant after arrival?

Allow the plant to acclimate gradually to normal household humidity. The plants are grown in a greenhouse environment with high humidity, so a gradual adjustment helps prevent stress and damage.

If your plant was shipped as a plug, it is important to carefully remove the roots from the plug before planting. Do not plant the plug directly into soil, as plug material retains too much moisture. This can lead to excess water retention and root rot. Gently loosen the roots and plant them in a well-draining substrate.

If your plant was shipped as a potted plant, it can remain in its nursery pot for some time if desired, or you may repot it at your discretion using a suitable substrate.

Care requirements may vary depending on the species.
